Custom-Designed Commemorative
October 25, 2007
Case study from Design Incentives (www.designincentives.com)
By Anne Marie Lee

Objective: Create one-of-a-kind commemorative items for an event.

Strategy: ACDelco wanted to leverage its race car sponsorship and Las Vegas convention by creating unique items which attendees could purchase to commemorate the event and take back to those who couldn't attend. Over 6000 customers would be attending this National Convention.

Design Incentives worked with ACDelco and the factory to create a custom design that incorporated the pertinent elements of the convention.

Results: This collaboration resulted in a spectacular camp shirt and fleece blanket featuring the racecar and corporate logos that became memorabilia for the event.
