Celebrity Designed Gift Cards October 23, 2008 Gift Card Lab offers Star Cards benefiting needy children nationwide

Ben Affleck, Christina Aguilera, Nicole Kidman and Jerry Rice are just a few of the famous faces who have contributed their hand drawn designs to a new collection of Visa Gift Cards, benefiting needy children nationwide this holiday season. Available for purchase through December 31, on GiftCardLab.com, the "Star Cards," allow recipients to give back to a good cause. For each Visa Gift Card sold, Gift Card Lab will make $1 donation to the Maine Toys for Tots Foundation, which distributes toys to kids across the country.
"The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation approached us about the promotion. We jumped on the opportunity immediately because it is a great way to give back and offer customers something different," says David S. Jones, CEO of Gift Card Lab in Dallas. "Corporate customers can buy these cards and use them as employee gifts, recognition items, customer rewards, sweepstakes and in marketing promotions."
All of the celebrity designed cards are signed by the athletes and entertainers, and a message is included on the site and in the packaging explaining why they participated in the program. Bow Wow, Denise Richards, Tori Spelling, Mena Suvari are among the others who participated in this worthwhile cause. The cards can be used anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted in the United States.
