Having a GPS system in the car makes it easier to get where you're going, and now one of the top makers of GPS devices has made it easier to get out of the car with your navigation system in hand. TomTom, which manufactures a varied lineup of navigation products that are widely used as incentive rewards, just won an award of its own for its innovative Fold & Go Easy Port Mount. The mounting system, which now makes the product easy to remove from the dash and stash in a shirt pocket, won a 1009 International CES Innovations Design Engineering Award in the In-Vehicle Accessories category.
The Fold & Go Easy Port comes on TomTom's ONE and XL products, which range in price from $200 to $300.
"It's a turn-key award in a popular consumer category at a great price point," says Billie Riese, a spokesperson for Incentive Concepts, which represents TomTom in the incentive industry.
