Michelin Maps and Guides Expands Offerings

Greater presence in promotional products and premium marketplace

After a successful launch in the U.S. promotional marketplace last year, Michelin Maps and Guides, a division of Michelin North America, is venturing into new territory by expanding its collection of travel products. In addition to the famed restaurant and hotel guides, corporate buyers can now choose from Michelin road atlases for various world destinations, wall maps, easy-use folding road maps, the Michelin Green Guide series and the Michelin Must See travel guide series.

"The Michelin Maps and Guides products have been very well received by real estate companies, financial institutions and other organizations. Michelin is renowned for having the most famous hotel and restaurant guides in the world," says Mary J. Kilburn, president of DinoMar Inc., a consulting company in the Phoenix, Arizona area that develops sales and marketing planning specifically for the promotional products industry. "There have been many requests for custom imprints for incentive programs, holiday gifts, incentive travel trips, tradeshows, and as gifts with purchase."

As part of the expansion efforts, Michelin Maps and Guides has teamed up with promotional product company Winthrop Atkins, distributor partner Hammond and Z Marketing Group to better reach users of promotional and premium items. Customization options are available for all Michelin products.
