• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts plans to open the Fairmont Vail, in Colorado, in 2011. The luxurious 128-room resort will feature a 10,000-square-foot Willow Stream spa, several fine-dining options and 9,500 square feet of function space.
• The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company will open The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley, in the Scottsdale area, in 2010. The 225-room resort will include a 25,000-square-foot spa, 14,600 square feet of meeting space, several restaurants and spectacular views of the area's top scenic wonder: Camelback Mountain.
• Raffles Hotels & Resorts announced it will open the Raffles Cabo San Cristobal in Mexico's Los Cabos region in 2011. The 130-room hotel boasts 80 acres of beachfront property, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, and a Raffles Amrita Spa. Cabo San Cristobal is 11km. from the shopping, dining and nightlife of Cabo San Lucas.
