American Idol Experience Opens at Walt Disney World Resort
February 25, 2009
New attraction offers unique venue for private event options
By Jeanie Casison

Fans of the hit show that launched the careers of Jennifer Hudson, Chris Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson, can follow in their famous footsteps with the opening of the American Idol Experience at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Located at Disneys Hollywood Studios, the new attraction will shine the spotlight on incentive attendees by giving them the opportunity to audition, perform on stage, or be a judge a la Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.

The American Idol Experience show takes place in a specially-designed theater that accommodates up to 1,032 people for receptions, dinners and other networking events. Backstage is equally thrilling, with vocal coaches, hair stylists and make-up artists on hand to provide star treatment to participants.

Disney event specialists are also available to work with incentive planners who want to customize group gatherings at the American Idol Experience.
