Sales Training Institute Opens in New Jersey November 13, 2008 Edited by Stacy Straczynski
The A Fluent Vision (AFV) Sales Institute, a comprehensive Roseland, NJ-based sales training school, will begin classes in January 2009, implementing the first consultative sales curriculum to be licensed by the State of New Jersey. All classes are instructor-led and will be conducted at the Roseland facility.
The AFV Sales Institute's Psychology of Successful Selling is a 32-session classroom program. It provides instruction in the principles of entrepreneurial economics, critical sales skills and the distribution channels for goods and services. Appropriate for those starting, changing or enhancing their career, the curriculum is based on best practices in the sales field, including communication skills like handling objections and effective listening.
The 112-hour program is provided through 32 classroom sessions, either an 11-week daytime program or a 16-week evening program. Upon completion of the program students will gain an overall understanding of sales and learn a proven and successful consultative sales methodology, and the skills that they need to practically apply these in the workplace. Students will also be given opportunities for job preparation and placement assistance.
"The Institute provides the public with highly professional and intensive sales training usually offered only by top corporations, which are the organizations we have been training for years," says Robert Keller, co-founder, AFV Sales Institute. "In addition to the fact that our founders and staff have decades of highly accomplished, professional sales and management experience across a range of industries, we felt it would be beneficial for students and future employers of our graduates to know that the curriculum has been approved by the State of New Jersey."
AFV Sales Institute originated the Psychology of Successful Selling in the IT sector, although it is not exclusive to that industry. The Institute teaches students the process of selling regardless of the product or service. Skills are transferable to sales, management and leadership positions throughout the business world.
