CRM Goes Next-Gen
January 28, 2008
By Jeremy Cohen

As the title proclaims, innovation is indeed on the horizon for customer relationship management. Look no further than Selltis, LLC, a provider of on-demand CRM software for end-to-end sales process automation. The company recently launched the next-generation version of the company's namesake CRM solution, Selltis Sales 5.0, which is delivered via a hosted, software as a service (SaaS) business model.

Selltis Sales 5.0 offers a Web-based technology platform using a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. This bridges the gap between the sales organization and IT with a feature set that satisfies the needs of both groups. With the release of Selltis Sales 5.0, the company is also expanding its reach from small- to medium-sized technical/industrial companies to larger companies in those sectors, as well as targeting other relevant vertical markets.

According to Selltis, LLC founder and president Brian Gardner, Selltis Sales 5.0 offers a totally re-designed web-based GUI and transcends across organizations by giving its customers a system to manage the front end of the sales process. At the same time, it offers visibility to share and leverage that knowledge across all departments in various locations 24/7. Selltis Sales 5.0 can be readily integrated with client third-party back-end systems to facilitate data access and interchange.

The Selltis Sales 5.0 model embraces collaboration with channel partners through a new Partner Relationship Management (PRM) module. This introduces multi-tiered functionality and allows manufacturers to seamlessly communicate with reps and distributors and maximize sales effectiveness throughout the sales channel. "Within the sales management cycle, users are rarely dealing with one person in a factory/industrial environment that serves as the sole decision-maker," says Gardner. "Selltis Sales 5.0 places all sales personnel, prospect contacts and channel partners all on the same page."

"In addition," he continues, "manufacturers can easily and securely regulate parameters of the information that a distributor or rep can view using the product’s selective data access features."

Selltis Sales 5.0 provides industrial and technical organizations with an end-to-end sales process automation solution that goes beyond traditional CRM. The multiple view desktop capability offers tab and/or mini views in an attractive dashboard that are all interrelated to a specific company. Selltis Sales 5.0 offers "many-to-many" linking and clearly presents all relevant related information.

This 3D linking offers built in informational scripts for all product codes, and the system can even intuitively provide lists of critical questions to ask for specific products. This capability is valuable for inside sales, new hires and customer service representatives.

Available via download or within a hosted environment, users can experience total CRM and more. "Sales organizations would expect to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars per month to reap the rewards of this total sales process automation solution," said Gardner. "Selltis Sales 5.0 truly drives the sales process and is a tailor-made system for a team selling approach. Not only is the system affordable, but implementation time can be as little as 20 minutes to have a company fully functional on Selltis Sales 5.0."
