Health Care Compliance Strategies, Inc. (HCCS), a provider of online health-care compliance and competency training, released updated online multimedia compliance courses. The updated courses are Corporate Compliance, Professional Compliance, and HIPAA Compliance.
These new courses from HCCS are designed to educate healthcare staff and administration on their role and responsibility regarding government regulations such as Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA. Topics covered include physician and corporate compliance regulations, guidance and changes regarding the False Claims Act (FCA), the Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS), Identity Theft and Red Flags rules, Medicaid eligibility, the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative Program (PQRI), and the OIG Workplan.
Along with new content, HCCS updated the courses with new videos, scenarios, and interactive exercises intended to engage learners and increase information retention. HCCS provides regular updates to clients via their online training courses when rules, regulations, legal rulings, documents or other information becomes available that impacts course content.
