A new Website sparked by entreprenuers Fiona Hudson-Kelly and Steve Green, www.theTrainingpod.com, is the place to be if you want to find great trainers and consultants—and there is absolutely no fee to join.
Taking the principles of online dating, Hudson-Kelly and Green have created a professional "dating site" where companies upload training and consultancy projects, defining exactly what type of person they want to work with—from professional accreditation through to industry expertise. The pod then matches them to the trainers and consultants who best match their profiles.
Once the search engine has done its work the company is then sent a short list of trainers and consultants and can choose which ones it wants to invite to bid for their work. Companies can access the trainers and consultants client referrals; Youtube videos of them in action; and check out their profiles and professional memberships to help them select the best people to work with.
Trainers and consultants can't contact the company directly until they are invited to do so, which prevents the companies from being bombarded with communications from hopeful suppliers.
